This is such a great place to grab a great breakfast. There are many options and all are quite tasty. The newer location is so much better than old. Its clean and spacious and quite inviting. If you want breakfast on a sunday come early! You wont leave disappointed.

Same great service and tasty traditional diner food, now in a shiny new building. The new location east of town is actually more convenient for us, and it has many more seats and parking spaces than the original. Call ahead to order pies if you want a whole one (and you do)!

I'm a delivery driver and the owner makes me feel like a winner every single time I set foot inside. Every single time. They're kind and loving and the food is like going home. Glory.

Slowest service. Rude staff. Waitress came to the table with a cigarette in hand! Barely spoke to us! Will not be returning!!!

Courteous fast and home cooked food.

I heard about how wonderful this place was. Turns out it was a long time ago at another location. I visited about 1:00 on s Friday. The few other patrons were finished with their meals and appeared to be regulars. I ordered my food and waited over 30 minutes! I was about to get up and leave. The burger had no seasoning and the bun was stale. There were very few fries and they also were bland.I hate that I wasted time and money. N one asked how it was or I would have replied.Don't stop and try it. Keep driving!

I wish ysomeone could explain why it takes ONE hour waiting to get 3 mini pancakes? Everyone came in after us got their food. But after one hour I couldnt hold it back but to complain when I looked around and all other people after us were being served. I hate to complain but poor management needs to be addressed. I've heard other people say this but was my last time eating there. I know of several other people have said same thing.I hate to see someone ruin what used to be a really good place to eat. With business being as bad as it had been wouldnt u think the owner would care about her customers. It's just a shame .

Nice place for breakfast or lunch if you are in the area. I had the Gump omelette, Mom had the Spinach and Mushroom and both were very good. They moved from one side of Danville to the other not too long ago, ignore the online reviews saying they closed- they are definitely open and recommended.

What an awesome little Mom and Pop diner. Excellent service, prices and food. Our party of 6 was instantly sat down and the waitress was as kind as you could hope for. Food arrived quickly and was spot on for each member of our group.

My family of 4 all ordered spaghetti with garlic toast. We waited 35 minutes for our food which was warm at best and so much water under the spaghetti that we had to drain it off. Not going back. It wasn't even a busy hour as we could tell. Only three tables waiting for food when we got there

Miss the old place but the new place is just as awesome.

Sat down and ate on a Thursday around lunch time. It was busy but nowhere near crowded. My first time eating there so I usually like to try a burger and fries to compare with the other local diners. Burger was awesome with a fresh "off the grill" taste. Fries on the other hand were over cooked. Most were burnt and so crunchy it made them tough to eat. The service was just okay. Had to call the waitress for refills and she didn't seem overwhelmed to stop by and ask if we needed anything. She also asked tables around my coworkers and me if they were doing okay but skipped us. So that was a bit upsetting. The wait on the food was a bit long as well so I wouldn't recommend stopping by here if you're trying to get something on the go. Definitely call ahead.

Went to the new location.. We ordered food 45 minutes before we left the house.. 20 minute to restaurant.. Waited another 35 minutes outside in car. Before our order was ready.. Simply ordered 3 Hamburgers NOT cheese burgers. Got home to eat smothered in cheese. Absolutely NOT what we ordered.. We are allergic to dairy. Couldn't eat any of it

Great food, the owner is so amazing. My grandfather eats here every day and he loves it. Me and my mother eat here at least 3 or 4 times a month and it never ceases to be amazing. This is the only place where I'll eat eggs. The staff is great and always a joy to be around. We will definitely be coming back.

Great food, service, and beautiful new location!

The service could not have been any slower! After waiting for almost an hour, my order was totally wrong and the hotdogs I did get were old and half cold. The fries were not fit to serve a dog. I feel bad that I bought lunch for a retired vet and his wife whom were elderly and had to wait too. I didn't know them but I sure hope they at least got the right order. Never eat here.

They staff is absolutely amazing. To Debra when you walk in the place you are family. The omelets are amazing.

A+ Diner. You have to remember it is a diner not a fine dining or fast food experience. They have a variety of menu items catering to all types of needs. Of course traditional diner food YUMM, and keto friendly options. The staff is wonderful, friendly and is there to serve and take care of you. Parking is limited and a little cramped most of the time because the diner is popular and it stays busy.

Waited 20 minutes for 4 hot dogs was in hurry. Had to leave without them, maybe one day I will have time to check them out again!

Service and food was wonderful. Love the new building. Very homey atmosphere!

Service was terrible. A number of customers who came in after we did were waited on first. Waited almost half hour to have them take order. Their version of chicken and dumplings was a dry, tough piece of chicken on a solo biscuit. No gravy, no side vegetables as described in menu. Won't go there again!

I'd never been here before and just thought I'd give it a try. Glad I did! Excellent and friendly wait staff. Wonderful cooking. Make sure to ask for the tomato jam! Can't wait to go back

Way too slow in serving food from the time you order.

Full of kind, friendly community in a small diner location; they provide a great watering hole. I rank it lower because of the food. I had orange juice, an omelette, hash browns, and a biscuit. The biscuit was a dry dinner roll. The hash browns weren't cook and full of raw onions. The omelette was undercooked, but flavorful. The orange juice didn't remind me of orange juice. Honestly, I think the ingredients are as cheap as they can find and poorly handled. Hopefully lunch or dinner is better.

Y'ALL! This has become my favorite restaurant in Virginia! The food is down home cooking that your Grandma use to cook for you on Sundays (in my case my Great Grandma)! If you want an awesome meal on a budget this is the place to go. We have already decided before walking out the restaurant that we would become regulars, we will make the drive from Durham. If I had to score it on a ten point scale it would be 100. You will not regret eating here.
